Overview

Cinematographer for the launch film of Arcade 2.0, a creative software platform by Output, designed to capture the feeling of stepping into an entirely new creative world.

The Problem

Output wanted to relaunch Arcade with energy and clarity, showing not just what the product does, but how it feels to use. The challenge was translating a digital, music-making experience into something visual, immersive, and emotionally engaging.

The Approach

I focused on building a visual world that mirrored the product itself: dynamic, colorful, and constantly shifting.

Working closely with the team, we designed a physical set with integrated lighting that could change in real time, allowing the environment to respond to the creative process. This made it possible to blur the line between the software and the real world.

Visually, I leaned into contrast and transformation, moving between grounded, everyday moments and more expressive, surreal environments to reflect the feeling of being pulled into the product.

The Outcome

The final film became the centerpiece of Arcade 2.0’s launch, helping position the product as not just a tool, but a creative experience. The video has since reached 5+ million views and continues to serve as a flagship piece for the brand.

This project was about translating something intangible into a physical experience, finding ways to make creativity itself feel visible.
